2005.09.07 - Holly leaves voice mail stating she changed her mind and she will not switch weekend visitation with me so Joey may attend a family military conference in Grand Rapids.

2004

2004.07.16 - I complained to the FOC that I had been in town since Monday and the defendant had refused to let me see my son. I had emailed her almost a month before I was to come home and she still couldn't work it out with me. Only after I complained to the FOC did they allow me to spend the remainder of my R&R time with Joey.

2004.07.16 - Forced to attend an Ingham County Friend of the Court Hearing. This was an emergency hearing because the defendant was complaining how messed up Joey was, how he needed counseling, and how she didn't have any money. Interesting enough, in December 2003, she pulled me into court to ask the judge for permission for a huge expensive family trip to Mexico and now she's having financial problems? Also note, that she was crying to the court how he needed counseling because of my deployment, yet I've been gone for 6 months and she's not bothered to get a counselor. As a matter of fact, she was ordered to seek counseling and failed to do so for another 3 months.

2004.07.12 - Returned to Michigan for R&R from Iraq. Joey wasn't allowed to be at the airport to see me.

2004.07.01 - During my first 4 months in Iraq, I also tried to call Joey often and was unsuccessful. I was only able to talk to him a few times.

2004.03.0? - Arrived in Kuwait City, Kuwait.

2004.03.01 - During my 8 week training period at Fort Benning, I called Joey from my cell phone dozens of time. I would call at 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm, and even 9pm on a weekday. A day where he should be home from school and/or getting ready for bed. In that entire time I was in Georgia, I was only able to speak to him 2 or 3 times. Having caller-id has enabled her to choose what calls she'd like to answer and what calls not to answer. Obviously, she'd prefer not to let me talk to Joey as I called dozens of times and was unable to get a hold of him.

2004.01.05 - Arrived at Fort Benning, Georgia for mobilization/training.

2004.01.03 - Reported for Duty to Selfridge ANG Base.

2003

2003.12.?? - received call from 3/238th C CO asking for volunteers to deploy to Iraq.

2003.07.23 - Returned to Michigan from Fort Lee, Virginia.

2003.04.?? - Granted leave from training in order to attend Joey's First Holy Communion

2003.02.11 - Reported to Lansing MEPS to be in-processed by the Michigan Army National Guard and be shipped to Fort Jackson, SC for Basic Combat Training.

2002.11.?? - Visited Holly at her workplace to have her sign the Military's Family Care Plan. This also had to be notarized and then returned to the military. We both signed it and had it notarized by her coworker.

1997

1997.10.13 - I called my lawyer and told her to go ahead and file the custody papers.

1997.10.12 - returned to my Westland, MI apartment to discover a break in. My locks were super glued shut. Some personal items were in the dumpster. Other personal items inside were damaged and rifled through. Police were called. Police report was filled. Ironically, all personal items of Joey's mother were mysteriously gone.

1997.05.2? - Joey's mother walks out on us.
